We had a call a couple of weeks ago about configuring ZoneAlarm, a software firewall, to allow for a home network to be setup.Often times, after setting up ZoneAlarm, network communication like sharing printers and files is blocked unless ZoneAlarm is shutdown…defeating the purpose of the firewall.

Jul 04, 2006 · i had used Zone-Alarm with my internet conection with no problems. 1 day, after i opened my computer and connected to the internet, i saw that my browser keeps giving me the message "The page cannot be displayed". i called my isp and they told me it is becouse of my firewall. and indeed, after i shuted down Zone-Alarm, everything was ok, my browser did find pages again Overall: Zone Alarm Pro set at default values will be beneficial for the security of your PC. I would recommend it for most usual home users. I would recommend it for most usual home users. The firewall on its own is free actually and has a solid reputation all these years.
